Dr. Daniel Schiavone is a native of Holley and a graduate of Holley High School (1986). He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in 1990 from the SUNY Buffalo School of Pharmacy, and went on to attend the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he completed his studies in 1994.
After dental school, Dr. Schiavone completed an optional one-year residency program at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo. Following this advanced training, he was employed by another local dentist in private practice for a short time followed by four years providing services to the Orleans Correctional Facility.
His private office opened in May 2000 in the historic Public Square in the Village of Holley
in the old Gordis Hardware building. Dr. Schiavone is a staff member at Lakeside Memorial Hospital and keeps up his skills by attending several continuing education courses each year. He is an active member of the Apollonian Dental Study Club in Rochester and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Schiavone has enjoyed researching and decorating the office with heirloom photographs of Holley and the surrounding area. He has also made several trips volunteering his services in remote Peru.
